The Masculinity Odyssey is a textile-based series reflecting my journey as a transgender man navigating the turbulent thresholds of adolescence and bodily autonomy.

Collaborating with weavers from Dhaka, Bangladesh, I use handwoven jute, muslin, and silk combined with intricate embroidery to explore the dissonance between gender norms and identity.

The work centers on the complex, deeply personal moment of confronting reproductive choices—embracing uncertainty rather than resolution—and reimagines the male silhouette as a fluid space between masculinity and femininity, East and West.
